Sometimes listening is faster than reading: for proofreading, long articles, or when you’re on the go. This page covers use cases for reading text aloud on the Mac and how Twirly’s read-aloud feature works.

Select text, double-click the § key — done. Twirly reads the selected text aloud immediately, in over 30 languages. The voice (Supertonic 3) runs locally on your Mac’s Apple Silicon GPU; the text never leaves the device.
